John Anderson (11 October 1921 in Salford, Lancashire – 8 August 2006) was an English football player. Anderson was a midfielder with Manchester United whose career started in 1946. He helped the club win the FA Cup in 1948 with a goal against Blackpool in the final, a match that is still widely accepted as one of the finest games ever to grace Wembley Stadium..
